The SAURdelegatee of intercommunal drinking water and sanitation unionhas just completed the important project carried out in recent weeks following water leak detected under the A6 motorway. Very quickly, the water supply to this section was cut off in order to limit losses.

Difficult to access

» This supply being difficult to access, we opted, by mutual agreement with SAUR, for the installation of a new drinking water pipe. Thus, this will allow the interconnection of the networks of the municipality of Darvault (Seine-et-Marne) and the Pierre Levée ZAC including the company STEF Logistique along the RD403,” specifies the president of SIAEP, Christian Peutot.

A final site meeting made it possible to take stock of the system put in place which will fully secure an entire territory and in particular this Concerted Development Zone (ZAC) of the Pays de Nemours which is in full development.

In the event of a failure in the distribution network (works, leak, rupture, etc.), this network will make it possible to maintain continuous water distribution regardless of the sector thanks to this ultra-modern equipment.

The amount of work carried out by SAUR is from €124,000.
