Yvelines: delivery girls in Clio brought cannabis from Corbeil-Essonnes

The infraction committed at the intersection cost these delivery specialists dearly. Two young women aged 19 and 21 must appear in 2025 for their involvement in cannabis trafficking, more specifically in delivery, between Mantois, in the north-west of , and Essonne. It was following a routine road check at the intersection of the D130 and the D146, in Gargenville (Yvelines), that their illicit activity was brought to light.

During the night of Sunday 3 to Monday 4 November, shortly before midnight, the Bac police then checked the occupants of a Clio. The strong smell of cannabis escaping from the passenger compartment and the presence of 345 euros in banknotes on the dashboard immediately change the nature of this banal road check.

The driver, a 21-year-old woman living in Châtenay-Malabry (Hauts-de-Seine) with no prior record, spontaneously told the police that she had drugs… and even that she was preparing to deliver them. She uses as proof the five sachets of weed that she takes out of her handbag and the five others of resin which were hidden at the level of a rear mudguard. The duo was taken to the Mantes-la-Jolie police station to be questioned.

The passenger explains that she “only” accompanied her friend on the delivery, not making any money in this affair. In view of these elements, she was released. The driver admits to engaging in this activity for around two weeks, on behalf of a person, a certain “SCO” contacted by the Signal application. An additional income more than a full-time livelihood, since she indicates that she receives at best 180 euros per 1,000 euros of sales, or 70 euros if she sold 500 euros of cannabis.

Cannabis that she obtained from a third woman, in Corbeil-Essonnes (Essonne). Aged 32, she was already known to the police and arrested on November 4, around noon. This “nurse” also prepared orders to meet the demand of around ten customers during the week, and around forty on weekends.

The search carried out at her home led to the seizure of 365 ranges of cannabis stored in a bag, packaging equipment, 1,220 euros in cash and two mobile phones. She was arrested for similar facts in September 2023. The thirty-year-old explained to the police that she had sold cannabis at the start of the year due to financial problems, on behalf of another person. A certain “SCO”.
