The Territoria Prize has been organized every year since 1986 by the National Observatory of Public Innovation. It rewards local authorities for their innovative practices in all areas of local management. : the planning of public space, sustainable development, communication, culture, Human Resources and even responsible development.

It's for his overall analysis of the Department's spending intentions according to whether they are favorable or unfavorable to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that the DFE is rewarded. Thanks to this vision of the budget, the Department's contributions to Sustainable Development are highlighted. For example, community spending on the renovation of colleges or on collective catering for college students contributes to the achievement of several SDGs (act for quality education and well-being, reduce inequalities, fight against malnutrition and climate change, promote sustainable agriculture, improve energy efficiency, etc.).

It is thanks to his project “ Let’s dare to talk about abuse in EHPADs » that she is awarded. AutonomY agents have given themselves the mission of carrying out prevention within accommodation establishments for dependent elderly people (EHPAD) on abusive behavior but also of emphasizing good treatment.

» This structure (AutonomY), already recognized for its dynamism and its impact, is today rewarded for the third time with a Territoria prize, which confirms the importance of its action. » Marie-Hélène Aubert, Vice-President of the Yvelines Department responsible for Autonomy, Health and International Cooperationduring his speech at the Territoria d'Or award ceremony.

“Mistreatment, whether physical, psychological or financial, compromises the well-being of residents in EHPADs and too often remains under-reported, due to lack of awareness and training. To meet this need, the Department launched a preventive initiative in partnership with the gendarmerie, in particular the brigade specializing in intra-family violence, and the Family Protection House.

The Territoria trophy presentation ceremony took place this Wednesday, November 13, 2024 in the lounges of the Hôtel Lassay at the National Assembly. Among the awarders of these prizes, the Yvelinoise Sophie Primas president of Territoria Observatory and Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade and French People Abroad.
