To open the summer season, the Lacs en fête event, organized by CD08, brings you to two new destinations: at Lac de Bairon, on Saturday June 22 and at Lac des Vieilles-Forges, on June 29. On the program: varied activities, for everyone, from 1:30 p.m. Come many!
For these two dates, the Departmental Council and its partners will organize sports initiations with electric scooters, rowing, sailing, fishing, canoeing, disabled sports activities… and many others! Musical and gastronomic entertainment will complete the offer!
Focus on prevention!
In addition, Lacs en Fête is also an opportunity for the Departmental Council and the Grand Est Regional Health Agency to offer prevention stands, with the presence of numerous partners. Among which: the Maternal and Child Protection of CD08, the Information Center on the Rights of Women and Families (CIDFF), Valodea, the Maison de la Nutrition, the League against cancer, the Couples Familles Ardennes association, the French Mutuality, Sos Hépatites, the diabetics association, France AVC, the Maison des Adolescents or the Red Cross, etc… Designed to provide a first level of knowledge in terms of prevention, this operation open to all, offers to participate free of charge to health promotion actions, within the framework of fun and educational stands: it will thus be possible to benefit from screening for diabetes, hepatitis and HIV, to carry out fitness assessments, to receive information about disability, the prevention of strokes, ticks, the fight against addictions, against violence against women, the importance of physical activity and diet on health, learning first aid procedures, etc. .
Objective of the event : allow the public to discover as many activities as possible, in environments so popular in these two departmental tourist resorts.
