On the occasion of the celebration of the armistice of November 11, Bleuet de France is launching its traditional national campaign calling for donations from November 1 to 11. This annual event is an opportunity for everyone to pay tribute to soldiers wounded in operations, war widows, wards of the Nation and victims of acts of terrorism. This initiative helps finance solidarity actions and memory projects. Collections will be organized throughout the territory.
Every year, Bleuet de France launches its major campaign calling for donations, from November 1 to 11 to help those injured by war and terrorism, and their loved ones. Volunteers will be present throughout the national territory to distribute blueberries in exchange for a solidarity donation. Each donation, even symbolic, is a mark of gratitude to those who sacrificed their lives for our freedom. The collection will end on November 11 during the armistice commemorative ceremonies, which will take place throughout France.
Since the circular of October 6, 2023, civil and military authorities wear the Bleuet de France from November 1 to 11, May 1 to 8, July 14 and March 11 (national day of tribute to the victims of terrorism). This decision contributes to the influence of Bleuet de France as a great banner of the unity of the Nation.
“Together, let's help those who remain” is the century-old motto of Bleuet de France which offers psychological, material and financial support to nearly 25,000 people each year. Within the fighting world, the association helps bereaved families, war widows and wards of the Nation (financing studies, activities, etc.), accompanies soldiers who are victims of Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS), supports the reconstruction and rehabilitation through sport of soldiers injured in war, finances cutting-edge equipment for military hospitals and even reintegration programs. The association also works with victims of acts of terrorism with reconstruction programs, financing personal and professional projects and supporting spouses and their children.
