La fermeture de l’association pour la promotion et l’intégration dans la région d’Angers (Maine-et-Loire), prévue pour décembre 2024, continue de faire réagir. Après sa pétition – signée par près de 1 750 personnes en ligne –, l’union départementale CGT du Maine-et-Loire a écrit une lettre ouverte aux politiques des alentours, ce mercredi 6 novembre 2024.

« Maintenir les activités de cette association »

« Nous nous étonnons du silence qui entoure cette fermeture. […] No proposal has been made for foreign workers and social partners to have alternative contacts”worries the union.

Beyond the worrying question about foreign workers, the CGT is also alarmed about threatened jobs. “Four employees were received for an interview prior to dismissal. […] We are counting on your active investment to stop the layoffs and maintain the activities of this historic association whose social usefulness no longer needs to be demonstrated. »
