This year again, RATP is celebrating music! Meet underground on Friday June 21, 2024 to discover three different choirs in the Paris metro who intend to give voice to this occasion.
New Music Festival in Paris ! Friday June 21, 2024all the music will resonate in the streets of the capital for a day and an evening not to be missed.
Like every year on the same date, budding musicians take to the streets to honor all music (rock, rap, electro, jazz, blues, classical, French variety, reggae, metal, zouk…) in organizing free concerts in the street, but also in squares, parks and gardens, cafes, bars and restaurants, churches, museums and even hospitals.
The Music Festival is back on Friday June 21, 2024 for our greatest pleasure! Get ready to vibrate to the rhythm of live music thanks to numerous free concerts and DJ sets organized outdoors, but also in performance halls, museums or restaurants in Paris and Île-de-France. Concerts are also announced underground, more precisely in the Paris metro! This year again, the RATP participates in the Music Festival and offers a special and festive program for the occasion.
For this news Music Festivalthe RATP puts singing in the spotlight by inviting, on June 21, 2024, three choirs different: Podium, the Wild and Clandestine Choir and finally the choir Les Voisins du Dessus. These will occur in two stations of the Paris metro, namely Auber station and Charles de Gaulle – Étoile station. The icing on the cake is that travelers who wish will be able to join the ranks of the Les Voisins du Dessus choir and give their voice!
Music Festival 2024 in the metro in Paris
Friday June 21, 2024 – Auber and Charles de Gaulle stations – Étoile
- From 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., at Auber station (RER A), find Podium Paris, an inclusive and festive choir.
- From 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., at the Charles de Gaulle – Étoile metro station, place for the Chorale Sauvage et Clandestine to sing about hospitality and surpassing oneself with disco, French songs and classics of the genre.
- From 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the Charles de Gaulle – Étoile station, come and listen to the choir Les Voisins du Dessus who will offer a spontaneous performance open to all fans. For the occasion, travelers are invited to vote now for their 3 favorite titles among these odes to Olympic values: “ The Winner Takes It All » from ABBA, « The Final Countdown » from Europe, « The Seine » by Vanessa Paradis and M, « At the end of my dreams » by Jean-Jacques Goldman, « Pata, pata » by Miriam Makeba and « At the Champs-Elysée » by Joe Dassin.
