Mlle Rosa: the new and welcoming cocktail bar in Montreal

Proud of its success with the India Rosa Plateau and Griffintown restaurants, the Sandhu family is doing it again with the opening of India Rosa’s little sister, the Mlle Rosa cocktail bar, in the Plateau Mont-Royal district.

On the menu, an inviting and unique lounge, fusion-Indian tapas as well as a selection of delightful and unique cocktails.

Epicureans will be able to enjoy happy hours or stretch out their evenings by sharing appetizers designed to surprise and charm, while sipping cocktails in a speakeasy-style atmosphere.”

Located at 1233, avenue du Mont-Royal (corner of Brébeuf) in Montreal, Mlle Rosa is part of a major trend in catering, sorority. Located next to the famous India Rosa du Plateau, the latter’s little sister stands out with its own design and unique atmosphere welcoming 60 people in a 2,800 square foot space.

A design evoking the golden hour

Designed by Pero Studio, the design of Mlle Rosa celebrates the golden hour with a subdued ambiance and shades of pink subtly diffused through a play of indirect light reminiscent of the holidays. Inspired by the lounge and sophisticated atmosphere of speakeasies, the establishment incorporates an imposing pergola recalling the essence of India Rosa Griffintown, while providing a natural and lively element. Carefully selected materials, such as copper and amber mirrors, reinforce this golden hour effect, creating a warm atmosphere that invites customers to escape while tasting appetizers and enjoying a moment of conviviality.

Tapas, cocktails and DJ

Lovers of discovery will be delighted by the tapas formula which offers a selection of small dishes inspired by the flavors of India in addition to 21 different delicious cocktails. Happy hour at Mlle Rosa promises a memorable experience with flavor combinations that will leave a lasting impression. In addition, the cocktail bar will host a guest DJ every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening to liven up the evening and create a very festive atmosphere in which to stretch out the evening in good company.
