Former Prime Minister Gabriel Attal launched, on Wednesday November 6, a foundation against school bullying, Face Face, with the ambition of “federate”, “amplifier” et “organiser” the mobilization of associations fighting against this scourge.
The former Minister of Education, currently a Member of Parliament, wishes to “taking a systemic step to a systemic problem”. Co-president with Béatrice Le Blay, whose son Nicolas committed suicide in September 2023, and Elian Potier, former victim, he promised to “share the work” with them, with interventions in establishments but above all a role of“pulse”.
“Obviously this association will rely a lot on the commitment of volunteers and, we hope soon enough, of permanent members of the association (…) and we will be there as a compass to set the direction of the association “he told the press.
He was speaking at the end of a morning of debates on the subject of school bullying, which concerns two students per class on average in France. His foundation will intervene in schools, organize training for educational staff or businesses or even support victims and their families.
