In view of the success encountered during the Haut-Marne stages in 2023, Ville à Joie will soon return to the department. It all starts this June 12 in Chaudenay.
But what is it about? In fact, as she likes to say when introducing herself, Ville à Joie is a social and solidarity economy company that brings public, digital, health services, businesses, etc. to villages that now lack them.
And this in the form of entertainment, a bit like the festivals of yesteryear where the population liked to meet in the village square.
A concept which has fully found its relevance if we refer to the approximately 300 events that Ville à Joie organizes each year, mainly in Nièvre, Cher, Yonne, Côte-d’Or, Corrèze, Haute-Saône… and Haute-Marne. Several dates are already scheduled, including the first in Chaudenay, June 12.

Each stage turns out to be a clever mix between festive and musical moments, but also moments conducive to the discovery, for the public, of local services that are sometimes ignored or poorly known.
In addition, Ville à Joie which, each time, detaches its own facilitators, aims to forge links, to alleviate the feeling of isolation of residents and to help them discover or rediscover the life of associations or businesses. This is particularly why they are fond of this type of gathering, giving them great visibility in rural areas.

The success of Ville à Joie is largely due to the dynamism that the structure deploys in order to create fun, friendly events, combining the quality of the stands offered with catering areas. A formula which has now proven itself, particularly in small or very small municipalities for which the organizers note high rates of participation from the population. These actions are obviously greatly appreciated by the mayors and their municipal councils, who never fail to collaborate with Ville à Joie!

Haut-Marne stops
If last year Bricon, Vivey, Ternat, Orges, Dancevoir, Rochetaillée… had served as a stage, the 2024 campaign will successively pass through Chaudenay (June 12), Anrosey (June 19), Vesvres-sous-Chalancey (July 5) , Bussières-les-Belmont (July 10), Genevrières (July 12), Corgirnon (July 26), Saint-Loup-sur-Aujon (August 4), Varennes-sur-Amance (August 12), Châtelet-sur-Meuse (August 17) and Pailly (September 18). Other dates are likely to complete the list and the programs will expand.
Thus, from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., the population and visitors will be able to discover a clever mix of services, workshops… and above all a good dose of conviviality and exchanges.
