LWednesday rhymes with cinema releases. This Wednesday, November 6, among the new films on display, is the latest from Haute-Savoie director Gilles Perret. Less than a year after the release of the documentary film “La Ferme des Bertrand”, a popular success filmed on the farm next to his home, in the hamlet of Quincy (Mieussy), Gilles Perret reunites with his friend, the deputy for the Somme François Ruffin, for a documentary comedy which raises the question of the reintegration of the rich. Or how, following a heated debate on TV with MP Ruffin, media lawyer Sarah Saldmann finds herself propelled into the daily lives of minimum wage workers. A challenge by François Ruffin to live “one, two months” on the equivalent of a minimum wage, after Sarah Saldmann launched yet another verbal attack against those she describes as “glandus, assisted”.

The film, produced by Jour2fete, is released in 140 theaters throughout France this Wednesday, November 6, 2024. In Haute-Savoie, Gilles Perret's home department, the film is screened in six cinemas (week of November 6 to 12, 2024) .
