During the weekend of November 1 to 3, 2024, 143 offenses were recorded, mainly in the gendarmerie zone. 28 driving license suspensions were taken by the prefectural authority. Fortunately no deaths were reported on the roads this weekend.

During the weekend of November 1 to 3, 2024, 114 offenses were recorded in the gendarmerie zone, mainly: 18 for excessive speed, including 2 of more than 40 km/h and 3 of more than 50 km/h, leading to 5 arrests of driving license, 19 for using a telephone while driving, 3 for not wearing a seat belt, 17 for driving under the influence of drugs and 15 for driving under the influence of alcohol.

28 driving license suspensions were taken by the prefectural authority.

In the police zone, 29 motorists out of 43 checked were fined: 6 for not wearing a helmet, 1 for driving under the influence of drugs, 4 for receiving goods, 2 for lack of a driving license, 4 for driving under the influence of drugs. 'an alcoholic state, 1 for crossing a solid line, 1 driving in the wrong direction and 4 for using the telephone while driving.

A total of 3 vehicles were immobilized and 9 people arrested.

As a reminder, the number of deaths since the start of the year is 39. 39 is also the exact number of deaths on the roads of the archipelago for the year 2023.
