Regional advisor responsible for youth, Guillaume de Almeida Chaves went to meet young people from Lot. This visit is part of the Occitanie Youth Tour, a tour of all the departments of the Region.
In the presence of around thirty students from the Figeac branch of the Health Careers Training Institute, he was able to measure the involvement of these students and discuss their concerns in terms of mobility, student pricing, housing , internship applications, housing assistance and professional opportunities. Likewise at the IUT of Figeac, young people from different backgrounds, who are taking technical courses in higher education, were able to share their expectations and difficulties with him.
Visiting a market gardening integration site in the town of Le Bouyssou, two young people from the course offered by the ETRE School were able to talk about their journey. Finally, at Figeac station, an impromptu meeting with around fifteen young travelers from the city’s high schools allowed him to take note of several requests to facilitate study and mobility conditions in the area. It’s a real opportunity and our role is to support their journey in the most worthy way.
