A crisis unit was activated within the establishment after a dispute between a teacher from Pierrevert elementary school and a parent of a student, Tuesday June 4.
The educational team at the Pierrevert elementary school (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence) received, Thursday June 6, the support of the academic inspectorate after a dispute between a teacher and a parent of a student, BFM learned FROM HERE.
“It’s sad but there’s nothing serious,” says André Mille, the mayor of the town who also went there.
The councilor describes the situation: “A mother got angry with her little one’s friends. The school management intervened. But the father went there and had words with the director and a teacher .”
“We deplore this situation”
One of them was allegedly physically touched by the father. “The dad doesn’t have to do that,” recognizes André Mille. And continues: “It’s serious because before when a little one did something stupid, he was scolded by his parents and now, we attack the teachers.”
According to the mayor of Pierrevert, a complaint was filed with the gendarmerie after the altercation which took place on the evening of Tuesday June 4. Information confirmed by the Aix-Marseille rectorate to BFM DICI.
“Initially, we secure then we support our staff. A crisis unit is in progress and functional protection is activated. In addition, a gendarmerie patrol is circulating around the establishment. We deplore this situation because such event has no place in front of a school”, concludes the rectorate.
