After very long years as president of AS Monterrein (Morbihan), Anthony Garin and Arnaud Davalo hand over and give power to local boys, Yohan Picard and Maxence Derrien.

“We are proud of what we have accomplished. It took some time, but it was worth it. We were able to create the football school and fitfoot and bring back youth with the seniors. Now we have to know how to pass the baton and give way to young people. »

The two friends are not leaving the club permanently. On the contrary, they will be on the field on Saturday with the U11s.

The new presidents want to be part of continuity

Yohan Picard explains his new role as president of the ASM: “We want to remain in the continuity of what was done before. We want to maintain a family club and keep young people going while developing the categories already in place. Regarding the flag team, we want players to be able to enjoy playing together again. »

Secondly, a few projects were put on the table: “We want to develop the inclusion of people with disabilities through football, because they also have their place among us. Regarding the locker rooms, they will be rebuilt and will be able to host regional level matches. Finally, we are thinking of installing an electronic payment terminal at the premises to facilitate the exchange of money. »
