The Mission Locale du Lot launches the “Mission Code” project – Medialot

It is deployed in two distinct phases in Prayssac and Peyrilles.

The Mission Locale du Lot enthusiastically announces the launch of its new project “Mission Code”. This initiative aims to offer learning and engagement opportunities to young people, while allowing them to finance their training in highway code through their participation in construction sites. The project is being deployed in two distinct phases in Prayssac and Peyrilles.

Phase 1 – Prayssac: The first phase started successfully in Prayssac, during the last two weeks of May. The activities took place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for the participatory worksite, and Thursdays and Fridays for the highway code course. The seven young participants, supervised by Philippe Maynard and Noémie de Quattro, facilitators at ALSH “L’École Buissonniere”, engaged in outdoor renovation activities, assembling tables and cabins and painting at the primary school. as well as the Prayssac leisure center. Municipal agents actively collaborate with young people to carry out this work. A fun day was also organized the following week.

Phase 2 – Peyrilles: The second phase, involving a new group of young people, will take place in Peyrilles during the first two weeks of June, also with varied work.

The Mission Locale du Lot expresses its gratitude to the municipalities of Prayssac and Peyrilles, as well as to all the partners and volunteers involved in this project.
