Young Jonah Hanrahan won the title in the kayak cross event. In this new Olympic discipline, the CKCU member had already won a medal this year: bronze at the European Championships. He was then sailing under the British flag. Among the girls, in the under-18 category, the Bizanosienne Avril Saüt (PCKCU) reached the final (4th) and Margot Lapèze (Orthez Nautique CK) the semi-final.

Earlier in the week, in the slalom events, the Béarnais also performed well.

Among the under-15s, Orthézien Martin Lapèze not only won gold in canoeing but also silver in kayaking.

Charlotte Campan (Pau CKCU) took bronze in the U15 kayak.

Among the under-18s, Jonah Hanrahan (Pau) becomes vice-champion of in kayak slalom. Rozmarina Estanguet (PCKCU) won bronze in canoe slalom.

Gold and bronze on patrol

The young Béarnaises won two more medals in the team event, known as the patrol event. In U18 kayaking, the Orthéziennes (Cloé Ducasse, Lilou Maniet, Margot Lapèze) are French champions and the Paloises (Rozmarina Estanguet, Avril Saüt and Maëlle Gerbet) take bronze. In U18 canoeing the girls from Pau CKCU are also 3rd (Rozmarina Estanguet, Ester Narduzzi and Léonie André-Condouret).

Patrol navigation once again crowned the Orthéziens in U15 kayak (Martin and Alice Lapèze with Roxanne Brotons).
