As part of Shared Jobs Day, Finistère Replacement and Partag'emploi have launched a unique initiative: offering member farms the opportunity to host nursery and primary school of their own children for an educational tour of their farm.

This action aims to introduce children to the realities and riches of the farming profession from a very young age. THE five farms participants, located throughout Finistère, will open their doors and share their daily life with young visitors.

In order to allow as many people as possible to participate, bus transport costs between the school and the farm are entirely covered by Finistère replacement and Partag'emploi.

Arouse children's curiosity

“With this initiative, we not only hope promote professions agricultural activities with children and their teachers, but also promote the link between professional life and the family sphere », underlines Finistère replacement. “By discovering the work environment of their parents or classmates, young people will have the opportunity to ask their questions,'observe animals, crops, and to understand the importance of daily agricultural work.”

The five participating farms, representative of the diversity of local agriculture, welcome classes from October 17 to November 5, and show off their know-how, in a friendly, child-friendly atmosphere.
