The Territory zero long-term unemployed program was officially launched in January 2024 in the agglomeration territory. This system makes it possible to employ people who are far from employment. Several actions will be carried out on Tuesday November 5 and Thursday November 7 in Laval (Mayenne) as part of an “unemployment strike”.

As part of its Territoire zero long-term unemployed system, Laval agglomeration will organize an “unemployment strike” on Tuesday November 5 and Thursday November 7, 2024. Officially launched in January 2024, this program makes it possible to employ people far from employment. “This strike is an annual event to alert and mobilize against deprivation of employment and to demand the right to employment for all,” indicates Laval agglomeration.

Two days of entertainment

Tuesday, November 5 will take place from 10 a.m. at the restaurant Le Belvédère, place Murat in Laval, the award ceremony following the “Disabled welcoming city” challenge in partnership with the start-up Street Co and the city's disability department from Laval. At 8 p.m., a film debate is planned at the Avant-scène, 29 allée du Vieux-Saint-Louis, with the screening of the film by Marie-Monique Robin The new rope in partnership with ATD Quart-Monde.

Thursday 7, a welcome coffee is planned from 9 a.m., at the Maison des Projets, Place Metmann, Murat district in Laval. On the menu: photo exhibition “The Right to Employment”, restitution of the “art and upcycling” workshops and culinary workshop.
