It is an event which saw the light of day in 2017. But whose reputation continues to grow. A artistic event who will see monumental sculptures disembark on the streets of a big city in Tarn throughout the month of November 2024.

Graulhetin the town of the same name, is at a turning point. The organizers have decided to change the dates (from summer to fall) and to shorten its duration (now four days). And also fewer artists. But that will not lower the quality of the event. On the contrary. The objective is the same: “to present professional quality works to the general public”.

Inside and outside

Because if there will only be around twenty artists exhibited, they will be better highlighted in the Forum space from November 21 to 24, 2024. And the names are tempting, from the Hérault painter Meskar to Lotois Jacques Alary , passing by the Gratentour sculptor Bernard Vie or the Algerian Samir Belamine (alias Zizou)…

But the Forum space will not be the only one occupied. Public space will be too. And longer. With the monumental works of Tarnais Casimir Ferrer. They have already started to move. A crowdfunding campaign has also been launched to finance this weight transport. Truck, crane, artistic service provider for the installation… L’Eveil Artistique Graulhetois asks for 3,000 euros.

Born in 1946 in Trébas, Casimir Ferrer is exhibited worldwidefrom New York to Sarajevo via Canada, Norway or Germany. Many of his works are visible in the region, whether in Tanus in Tarn on the observation area of the Viaduc du Viaur, Castelnau-de-Lévis, or in Villefranche-de-Rouergue (Aveyron).

Art always

And at fourth city of Tarn (more than 13,000 inhabitants) is known for leather (and rugby), art has carved out a special place for itself in recent years. Thus, it has become the second city in the former Midi Pyrénées region to welcome the largest number of intermittent entertainment workers on its territory, thanks in particular tointernational companies installed in the town like the famous Flying visual artists.
