He was shot dead in the middle of the night this Thursday. A 57-year-old trader was shot and killed in Calenzana, in Haute-Corse, says the prosecutor's office. An investigation was opened for intentional homicide by an organized gang, said prosecutor Jean-Philippe Navarre.

André Guerini was killed, shortly before midnight this Thursday, October 31, by “gunshots”, according to information provided by the head of the Bastia public prosecutor's office. Coming from a well-known family of traders from Balagne, this owner of a restaurant in Calvi was allegedly shot dead at the wheel of his car, while he was parking at the entrance to the village of Calenzana, reports 3.

Still according to our colleagues, it was the neighbors, alerted by the detonations, who called the police. Many bullet holes were noted by investigators.

The research section of the Corsican gendarmerie and the judicial police of the interdepartmental direction of the national police of Haute-Corse were joined to carry out the first investigations.
