For more than a year, major work has been underway at one of the Souillac sites.

Driven by constant growth, the company is replacing one of its production tools, by building a new, latest generation automatic anodizing line, which will allow it to double its current surface treatment capacity while reducing costs by a third. consumption of water, energy and chemical substances. The continuity of a CSR (corporate social responsibility) approach in line with the g.pivaudran strategy and that of its clients.

Operational by the end of 2024

This investment remains in line with ever-increasing customer requirements, which are pushing g.pivaudran to develop resources towards high technicality, accompanied by specific options consistent with customer requests.

g.pivaudran invested 7.5 million euros for this new anodizing line which will be equipped with 80 3000 liter tanks. This is the largest investment ever made since the company was founded.

“With this new anodizing line and its ultra-modern facilities, we want to continue to serve our customers but also to conquer new markets” underlines Marc Pivaudran, President of g.pivaudran.

Forecast for hiring 50 employees

The Pivaudran company, a flagship of the Lot economy, designs and produces innovative aluminum parts intended for the perfumery, cosmetics and spirits markets.

In 2020, the company obtained the EPV (Living Heritage Company) label and was selected as part of the France Relance and Territoires d’Industrie system. The g.pivaudran company, a 100% family business since 1948,

is located in Souillac where it is one of the main employers. g.pivaudran employs 250 employees distributed

on two sites (15,000 m²) and achieved a turnover of €37 million in 2023.

g.pivaudran achieved a turnover of 37 million euros in 2023 and plans to hire around fifty employees as part of this investment over the next three years.

Anodizing is the specific surface treatment of aluminum which consists of creating a very resistant uniform layer of aluminum oxide by electrolysis. This layer can be colorless or colored. The anodizing process is generally carried out by dipping in chemical and electrolytic baths.
