Gourdon in the Lot is transformed into a seaside resort

Gourdon is a 3.5 hour drive from the ocean and the Mediterranean. Between the two, your heart swings, but you won’t have to choose since the big blue is coming to you this weekend. Nicolas Garcin, the organizer, invites us to rediscover the atmosphere of a seaside resort in the heart of the Lot: “It’s rediscovering the atmosphere of a beachside, of a night market with designers, of having this iodine effect, with your feet in the sand. We still bring in a sand sculptor who will make an enormous creation on 18 m³ of sand. There is a giant sandbox for children, parasols, deckchairs. In a town that is medieval, we create an atmosphere with a giant 9-meter lighthouse and a boat.»
And on Sunday, the ”Between sea and ocean” event will allow you to practice water games or captive flight in a hot air balloon on Lake Gourdon in the Lot.

”Chahuts” is the spoken word arts festival located in the Saint-Michel district of Bordeaux. These are original meetings around writing.
