Practical advice

To get to the different places of events in the 8 Bretillian municipalities, it is important to anticipate arrival on site and to favor, if possible, soft mobility (public transport, bicycle, scooter and on foot).

  • Locate parking places (racks and bike shelters or bike stations) around the festivities
  • Avoid holding your bikes by hand in crowds, especially in Rennes where traffic will be particularly dense

On the different places of the passage of the Flame, so that the celebration is beautiful:

  • Do not disturb the torchbearers: do not change location at the last moment when approaching the convoy and do not cross the road without checking for the possible arrival of security vehicles
  • Don’t run past the Flamebearers
  • Don’t take risks for a photo, video or selfie
  • Be attentive to children: watch them and hold younger children by the hand
  • Keep your pets on a leash

In order to ensure the security of the entire route of the Flame, prefectural, departmental and municipal decrees have been taken.
