The International Congress of Art History has been held since Sunday and will continue until Friday, June 28, in Lyon.

On Wednesday evening, more than 200 participants were able to discover the Demeure du Chaos, a unique contemporary museum in Saint-Romain-au-Mont-d’Or, opened in 1999 by Thierry Ehrmann, a sculptor and visual artist, which also houses Artprice, a historical documentary collection (dating back to 1700), a world leader in information on the art market; the structure is one of the patrons involved in the congress. Among those present was Christopher Miles, Director General of Artistic Creation at the Ministry of Culture.

This congress, the 36the , only takes place every 4 years in a city in the world, and this year, it is in Lyon. Some 1,500 delegates from all over the world attended

found at the Lyon Convention Center for conferences and round tables open to the general public (on the theme of matter and materiality) and also took the opportunity to visit the region.

The Abode of Chaos is only open to the general public on certain days/weekends per year. You can discover there a new exhibition, “La Vie en rose” and around a hundred new works (among more than 6,300).
