This winter, the Cité Fertile is pulling out all the stops and offering you an XXL Christmas village and markets, to prepare your gifts with complete peace of mind and enjoy festive and engaging activities, from November 30 to December 22, 2024.
It’s almost the time we’ve been waiting for Christmas marketsthese ultimate meetings to find Christmas gifts original, homemade, and sometimes even last minute! Like last year, several markets are coming to the Fertile City for the occasion, with a City of Christmas and its XXL village. Appointment of November 30 to December 22, 2024 for committed and responsible gifts, and exceptional programming!
There is something for everyone, with different exhibitors every weekend, between Japanese market, second hand… in short, a unusual Christmas villagein the heart of a former station, over several weekends, from noon. The opportunity to taste comforting specialties from local restaurateurs with their gourmet street food stands, to enjoy large play areas and more festive evenings with your family, and even a Nordic sauna !
On the program
- Labyrinth of upcycled games : a fun XXL wooden course for young and old, combining entertainment and eco-responsibility
- Artists’ workshop : creation of handmade Christmas gifts, guided by local artisans and artists, in a DIY space dedicated to art and know-how
- Wishing cabin : a participatory artistic project where everyone is invited to submit their wishes for the coming year
- Performances live et spectacles : concerts, choirs, brass bands and artistic performances will punctuate each weekend on the Main Stage of the Halle Canopée
- Nordic immersion : in the Vats de la brasserie, the Nordic experience can be fully experienced with the sauna, a chill space, massages and treatments
