The community of communes Beaucaire Terre d’Argence (CCBTA) in Gard has just launched a call for expressions of interest (AMI) for businesses. She still has four lots for sale in its activity zone, located in Vallabrègues, next to Beaucaire.

First lot purchased in 2022

Since 2018and the start of the sale of lots, only two fields found a buyer. The first purchased in 2022 accommodates a carpenterwhile the second acquired in 2024 will see the arrival of a ironwork.

In recent years, the community of communes has helped many companies to build their projects to settle in the activity zone. But many of them did not see their project come to fruition.

15 minutes from Avignon

“For a company, putting together a file can take eight to nine monthsso when it doesn't come to the end, we lose a little year», explains Valérie Normand, head of the economic development department within this small community of communes of 30 000 habitants.

However, the area has advantages, particularly in terms of its geographical location. “We are at 15 minutes from Avignon, 10 minutes from Beaucairenear Bouches-du-Rhône and Vaucluse”, describes the person responsible for economic development of the community.

Relaunch applications

And Valérie Normand specifies: “Two of the lots still available are 1 700 m² put on sale at €93,000 excluding tax . The other two are 3 600 m²dont 1 500 m² buildable, put up for sale at €114,000 excluding tax ».

With this AMI, the community of municipalities hopes bring back to lightthis business park and thus overcome the lack of notoriety from which it may suffer.
