First 167,000 euros embezzled
His method was to falsify invoices by providing your own bank statement. For several years the deception went unnoticed. Until the moment of one accounting audit revealing the trick. But 167 000 euros had already been diverted.
A second job, a second theft
Despite a court summons in June 2024, this woman continued her crimes in a new company, specializing in automotive equipment, as a cashier. Filtered by surveillance cameras, she was identified stealing €14,000, bringing the total of her scams to exactly 181,000 euros.
8 months in prison
Found guilty, the court pronounced a sentence of 8 months in prison at home under electronic surveillance, as well as 10 months of probation. She will have to repay 168,800 euros to the Meuse Employment Center and 1,800 euros to its director.
