The start of the festivities in November

There is no Christmas without its unmissable markets where we like to stroll after a long day at work and with family during the weekend. In this year 2024, the great classics answer the call. The Tuileries market will return as soon as November 16 and until January 1st. Defense will also be adorned in its festive attire with a market which will begin on November 14 and end on December 29. Because is nothing without Montmartrehead to the Butte from November 24 to January 7 to delight in spiced and citrus delicacies, and invest in wonderful artisanal creations.

At the foot of Notre-Dame Cathedralthe market will be held from November 29 to December 25. The most creative will be enchanted by the Klin d’Oeil market at the Carreau du Temple, the weekend of December 14 and 15. For a little dose of travel, the Japanese Christmas market, Shizenwill also make its return for a weekend, on December 7 and 8. Suburban towns are not left out. Short but festive, the Christmas market Levallois-Perret will take place from December 6 to 15.

The illuminations of the Champs-Élysées to come

If Christmas rhymes with market, it also rhymes with illuminations. Of course, this festive period is nothing without the traditional illuminations of the Champs-Élysées. Last year, these were inaugurated on November 19 in the presence of Gilles Lellouche. This year, the 400 trees of the world’s most famous future will light up on November 17at 7:35 p.m. For the moment, the name of the sponsor(s) has not yet been announced.
