“The call of the neighborhood”, the photo exhibition to see in November in the 20th arrondissement of – Mon Petit 20e

A photographer very inspired by the 20th arrondissement, where he lives, Antoine Pihen (@cinematic_days on Instagram) has several times authorized us to use his photos to illustrate some of our articles. From November 6 to 26, his work will be exhibited at Petit Bruit, a nice bar in the Gambetta district.

“For almost 2 years, I abandoned landscape photography to try my hand at street photography. Inspired by cinema scenes and a few photographers I met on the networks, I discovered a new approach to photography. Also starting on film, this new adventure started in my street then in my neighborhood, in Gambetta. I then captured moments of life and details of my neighborhood with this cinematic style that is dear to me.

After several years of travel and photography, it is finally the 20th arrondissement of which will be highlighted through around fifteen photos. Like what, the most beautiful journeys can begin when you walk through our door. This exhibition is the culmination of dozens of hours of walks and meetings throughout the 20th century. I would not have had this desire to share my work without your support over these long months. In a career as a professional or amateur photographer, exhibiting your photos is a big step.”
