WEATHER REPORT – “Bank” had become the symbol of the devastating floods in the Center-East. A video showing the cow carried away by the current of the Lignon, in Haute-Loire, Thursday October 17, had gone viral on social networks. But the animal was found dead, its breeders indicated this Sunday, October 20, on social networks.

Panga was part of a herd of five cows that were caught in the water during a historic flood on Thursday. “They were surrounded by the Lignon. There was at least 1.50 meters of water on the plot with a strong current”said Étienne Valla, the owner of the livestock, in a video from the local daily Le Progrès. “Four fled to the banks and the fifth (Panga) went wandering”he added.
