The National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts (Cnam) inaugurated, Friday October 11, 2024, two new buildings “Landy 2” and “Synergie” in Saint-Denis (Seine-Saint-Denis).

Landy 2 ready to welcome 1,000 apprentices

“Landy 2” aims to complement the teaching activity of the Cnam and will serve as an extension of the existing CFA in Saint-Denis, “Landy 1” built in 2005. This new 7,900 m² center will accommodate 1,000 apprenticesa documentation center and catering for 150 seats.

Furthermore, formerly located in Noisy-le-Grand (Seine-Saint-Denis), the Cnam Center for Employment and Work Studies has been moved to the ground floor of “Landy 2”. “Administrative premises, archives and hosting of Cnam’s computer servers complete the project,” specifies a press release from the institution.

As for the second building inaugurated last week, “Synergie”, it houses the departments oforganic chemistry teaching, general chemistry, analytical engineering, agri-food of Cnam and the laboratories associated research.

Spread over six levels, it represents a surface area of ​​3,550 m². “An “interior street” provides access to each laboratory, the practical work rooms and the offices on the other. The preparation, storage and analysis rooms are adjacent to the practical work rooms installed in the center of the system,” adds the press release.
