A large number of Tarascon associations, which participated in the forum on September 14, responded to the town hall’s invitation for an “aperitif debrief” in the multipurpose room of the social center. Objective: to take stock of the event in order to do even better in 2025. Because yes, even if a few points need improvement, all those present have already confirmed their participation in the next school year.
It must be said that, in everyone’s opinion, the party was beautiful. Under the September sun, near the cultural center, nearly 40 associations took the opportunity to present their activities. In the presence of Bastien Pitarresi, deputy delegate for associations, youth and sports, the thirty present, around a small drink and a few peanuts, scanned the entire organization, down to the smallest details. Alain Sutra, mayor of the town, coming to greet all these volunteers “who make Tarascon-sur-Ariège rich”, “took advantage” of the opportunity to launch a new invitation to associations. “This evening, you take stock of this wonderful event, the forum. Another appointment is given to you by the town hall, at Christmas. We are preparing two days of celebrations, with shows on December 15, offered to all, and the day before, on the 14th, a big Christmas market on the square in front of the cultural center. It’s a bit like the winter forum. Not quite the same thing, but a new opportunity to get together. Mélanie Marrot, head of the Mayor’s office and, among others, of the Municipal Animation Board, invited associations to take part in the event, by setting up a stand on the market.
An anticipated weekend of celebration
A nice weekend in perspective, which the city’s merchants should join in with. A festive weekend, combining conviviality and culture, tradition and living together, like Tarascon-sur-Ariège.
