Beautiful Churchesthis is the name of this site where you can already access the digital visit to around 500 churches in and neighboring countries.

Recently, we have had several requests from tourists and Clisson residents for our churches to also be integrated on this site. Within the parish, we have created a group which, after several months of reflection and work, can finally respond to their entirely admissible request, regarding the Notre-Dame-de-Clisson collegiate church.

A Clissona tourist town, the demand was more and more pressing.

It was obvious that the many visitors were very often unable to have a key to understanding everything that our building contains. We did have a few panels at the back of the church but this was insufficient to absorb the special atmosphere of the place.

Information on heritage and worship

L’application nationalecreated around ten years ago, is already structured in terms of its presentation by the organization Beautiful churches. The Clissonnais team assisted by a professional photographerhas contributed to the various sections in order to allow a highly commented visit to the Notre-Dame church on all its aspects.

We have tried to provide essential information on historical, heritage, religious and cultural levels. We also relied on the work that had already been carried out by the Clisson Histoire et Patrimoine association.

From now on, it is possible to scan the QR Code displayed at the entrance to Notre-Dame church or inside and to access in a few clicks on your smartphone to a digital and exhaustive guided tour of the place.

A project that could be enriched later with videos and of views filmed by drone. The Vineyard Tourist Office and the municipality are also partners in this project. The parish priest does not rule out extending the approach to other emblematic churches of its parish.
