A reconstruction
This closure is explained by the reconstruction of the murder of Karine Esquivillon. As a reminder, she disappeared on March 27, 2023. Michel Piaille, her husband, initially mentioned a voluntary departure of his partner.
On June 16, he finally confessed to the murder of Karine Esquivillon. He then assured that the shooting was “accidental” and that it had occurred while he was cleaning the weapon with a view to selling it on the internet.
Many law enforcement officers mobilized
According to West Francegendarmes, experts, the public prosecutor, lawyers for the civil parties and the defense were present on site. Michel Pialle would have arrived shortly after noon.
Traffic in the hamlet resumed around 7:30 p.m.
