Tuesday, October 15, around 6 p.m., a fire broke out in the kitchen of a detached house, rue Henri-Salvador, in the Schwertz housing estate. It could be due to an electrical fault. Firefighters from Forbach and Freyming-Merlebach, accompanied by a team from Enedis, were quickly on site to contain the fire.

Apart from the kitchen, the only damage to deplore is the dirt throughout the building, caused by the fumes. There were no injuries but the owners had to be relocated.
