Former CEO of Nestlé Maroc, Imane Zaoui, joins Turkish ECP Maroc

Eczacıbaşı Consumer Products (ECP) Morocco, a subsidiary of the Turkish group Eczacıbaşı, has just appointed Imane Zaoui as General Director.

This appointment comes in a strategic context marked by the expansion of the group, notably with the recent acquisition of Jeesr Industries, leader of the Moroccan toilet paper market. The arrival of Imane Zaoui at the head of ECP Morocco is part of the group’s desire to consolidate its position on the regional market and accelerate its vertical integration.

A graduate of the Higher Institute of Commerce and Business Administration (ISCAE), Imane Zaoui has over 17 years of solid experience in the consumer goods sector. Before joining ECP Maroc, she held the position of General Director at Nestlé Maroc, where she played a key role in the strategic development of the company. She has also held several management positions, including as Head of Sales and Head of Sales Development at Nestlé.

This expertise, acquired within a leading multinational in the agri-food sector, will be a major asset for his new mission at ECP Maroc. Zaoui will be tasked with strengthening the company’s operational efficiency, expanding its portfolio of brands (including Selpak, Dalaa by Wooly, Pandoo and Sany), and pursuing the group’s innovation strategy. ECP Maroc aspires to become a major player in the hygiene products sector in North Africa.

Founded in 2015, ECP Maroc has continued to increase its presence in the Moroccan market. With the appointment of Imane Zaoui, the company aims to take a new step in its development and strengthen its investments in the region.
