Four hundred and forty-eight participants, including around fifty hikers… the Vallon trail won over nature running enthusiasts who shared sweat and happiness on the steep paths that wind through the surrounding hillsides.

A big success for this event and a great satisfaction for Athlé-Vallon who had only laudatory feedback on its organization. A big congratulations to his mentor Sébastien Pelletier and his team of around fifty volunteers who ensured that it ran smoothly. However, there was a big scare on the Saint-Jean-le-Froid side with the discomfort of a young competitor evacuated by the Samu helicopter to the hospital. “We are relieved to have the reassuring news and we wish him a full recovery” indicates Sébastien Pelletier who thanks the two trail runners who stopped their race to help him. On the sporting side, some great fights punctuated the event, particularly over the 25 km where Quentin Flottes and Nicolas Boyer engaged in a great battle.
