After a third edition in 2023 which gave rise to more than 530 events organized in all the territories of mainland France and overseas, the General Directorate of Foreigners in France and its partners are organizing for the fourth consecutive year the Week of integration of newly arrived foreigners in France. It takes place from Monday October 14 to Friday October 18, 2024 throughout the country.
This Integration Week is a strong time to highlight and promote the initiatives, achievements and continued mobilization of all integration stakeholders who work alongside State services in the Ile-de-France region. from-France. It also constitutes an opportunity to present to the inhabitants of the territory another vision of migration, through the organization of meetings between the general public and foreign people and by the promotion of successful integration paths representative of the positive contribution of foreign people newly arrived in Île-de-France.
The State and its services are heavily involved throughout the year, with their partners, in welcoming new arrivals.
This week, Marc Guillaume, prefect of the Île-de-France region, prefect of Paris, invites you to discover their actions around the 11 themes constituting the integration process for people arriving in France:
– learning French;
– adherence to the principles and values of the Republic and understanding of citizenship;
– access to employment;
– mobility;
– housing;
– health;
– to culture;
– sport;
– citizen engagement;
– the AGIR program (comprehensive and individualized support for refugees);
– access to rights and Territorial Reception and Integration Contracts (CTAI).
We offer 70 events organized throughout the Ile-de-France departments and at regional level.
