“We will get there with the private sector…”, Abdourahmane Sarr

The Senegal 2050 program intends to rely on the sector, said Abdourahmane Sarr recalling the three axes of the Senegal 2050 vision presented to the public this Monday by the government.

A competitive economy, human capital, regional planning, sustainable development, for good governance in general. This is their vision for 2050.

And to implement this vision, it will first be a question of carrying out adjustments, explains the minister, who recalls that they had reported on the financial situation of the country. This recovery will make it possible to have a healthier macroeconomic framework so as to be able to support the private sector.

“We will get there with the private sector and that is the break. The State has always tried in 60 years to stimulate development. This time, it will be a strategic state that will put the private sector at the forefront and support it. But to do this, the State itself must consolidate its finances”
