The L’Épée de Bois cinema organizes, every last Monday of the month, a cinema screening which combines screening and tasting of the dishes on the screen.
If for you, a cinema session must be done in cathedral silence – of your choice, without children, without popcorn and without groups milling around your chair -, so go your way because this most unusual news is definitely not for you. On the other hand, if you are not against bracing your hollow tooth when you go to make a canvasso stay here, the rest might interest you.
The L’Épée de Bois cinema, located in the 5th arrondissement of Paris, is organizing every last Monday of the month a somewhat special cinema session, called Gourmépine, which combines film screening and food tasting in connection with the film projected on the big screen.
And the Latin Quarter cinema team clarified: “We believe that films, more than being seen, can be lived. And what meaning is more evocative than taste ? Gourmpée proposes to combine screening and tasting by collaborating with recognized restaurants and independent chefs. Let yourself be transported into an experience that combines cinephilia and gluttony !”
If the idea appeals to you, next session will be held on October 28, 2024 with the screening of The wing or the thigh by Claude Zidi with Louis de Funès and Coluche. Count €9 for snacks in addition to the price of the place. Please note that it is not possible to attend the screening without taking snacks, “the idea behind Gourmpée being to share a film and tastes linked to the film together.”
Please note, the December session will be held on the 16th of the month and not the last Sunday of the month.
