Nearly forty authors will be present at the 9th Corronsac Book Fair on Saturday, November 3. And there will be plenty of entertainment too!

The Corronsac Book Fair returns this fall for its 9th edition. Proof, if any were needed, of the success of this cultural and family event on the hillsides! Always organized by the association Corronsac Living well together and coordinated by its literary kingpin, Cécile Caro, the event will be held on Saturday, November 3, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., at the village’s multipurpose hall.

Relying essentially on local “resources”, the Salon offers to meet around forty authors (for adults or for young people) who we know – or not – that they live in Lauragais, in , or in nearby towns, such as Cécile Calland, Audrey Marty, Patrice Teisseire-Dufour or Claudine Candat, or even the illustrators Fred Medrano, Marine Savelli or Clapat… The opportunity to discover their latest works, get a precious dedication and, why not, prepare your original and personalized Christmas gifts…

In addition to these special meetings with the authors, the team will also offer various activities throughout the afternoon, including a workshop for creating illuminated bookmarks, or a writing workshop, led by Hélène Sanchez- Bassié. Also planned are interviews with authors, hosted by Sophie Michon, and a conference by Stéphane Amiot on the creation of a children’s album and working with an illustrator. The association Les Coteaux alongside Élodie will host a used book sale for the benefit of the Telethon, and the Reader of the Valley will inform about its new short story and postal art competitions. For the youngest, kamishibaï (small Japanese theater) sessions are also planned as well as other activities led by the association’s volunteers. Around the School. And of course, to accompany it all, a tea room, with homemade delicacies and hot and cold drinks will be available to visitors throughout the afternoon.
