After the project to build a house for childminders (Mam) in Berné was unanimously adopted, at the municipal council meeting on August 30, the first councilor of the commune, David Guilloux, brought together , Friday October 11, the main protagonists of this project which was announced at the start of the mandate of the current municipal team.

“This 170 m2 structure will be built at the entrance to the new Kerpriol housing estate and will allow up to sixteen children to be accommodated at the same time by four childminders,” said David Guilloux. The four interested parties, Morgane Thomas, Marion Thiou, Johanne Le Cornic and Dorianne Cousin, have already organized themselves into an association under the name Les Petites Merveilles, which will become that of their Mam.

The next step will be to obtain approval from the Family Allowance Fund and Maternal and Child Protection, the main partners of the project. The start of work is scheduled for June 1, 2025, for an estimated cost of 615,000 excluding tax, subsidized by the State and the Department.
