Are you the key that will allow the gendarmerie to solve the disappearance of Florence Bloise-Desobry, 39 years old? The national center for serial or unsolved crimes recently issued a vast call for witnesses to try to answer this 21-year-old enigma.
On Saturday February 1, 2003, around 6 p.m., the mother left her home in Magny-les-Hameaux (Yvelines), after an altercation with her husband. Dressed in jeans, a brown sweater, snow boots and a red anorak with white stripes, she disappears while walking in the snow. In her orange backpack, she only took pajamas, a toothbrush, a hairbrush and the book “Children of the Earth”. She had to wear a yellow gold wedding ring with these words engraved inside: “François and Florence 06/28/1986”. She took neither her identity papers nor her bank card. And only very few species. To her children, she promises to be there the next day to go to Sunday mass. No one will see her again.
A possible seriality?
After twelve months of work, the gendarmerie closed the file. Then, in 2011, the family obtained the reopening of the investigation for kidnapping and sequestration. She contacts the National Center for Serial or Unsolved Crimes.
“The investigation was unable to succeed due to a lack of crime scenes and elements that can now be used,” explains Pascal Prache, the public prosecutor of Nanterre in the video posted online.
Responsible for solving this enigma, investigators from the Versailles Research Section are therefore appealing to anyone with information. They specify that they are “looking for of objects dating from her disappearance” but also from people who had been in contact with her, through parish from Magny-les-Hameaux or through the middle of the paint that she practiced.
“The division chose to take up this case due to its particular complexity, the age of the facts, no crime scene, and potentially, but this needs to be verified, a possibility of seriality, in short a link with other disappearances. »
For the Research Section, “nothing is trivial. » The gendarmes assure that all information will be studied. A dedicated email address has been set up
