A go-fast was intercepted at the Allainville tollbooth () on the A10 motorway, by police officers from the Research and Intervention Brigade (BRI), the National BRI (BRI-N), the BRI Financière (BRI-FN), and those of the Anti-Narcotics Office (OFAST) of Versailles, during the night from Thursday to Friday, according to information fromNews17. Three vehicles were stopped in total and three suspects arrested. 666 kilos of cannabis as well as 10 kilos of cocaine were seized. The three suspects were placed in police custody in the premises of the Anti-Narcotics Office (OFAST) in Versailles, which was jointly responsible for this investigation with the BRI-FN police officers.

Investigations into this matter began several months ago. Several suspects were identified and investigators carried out technical and physical surveillance. During their investigations, they learned that a convoy loaded with drugs was due to arrive in Île-de- from Spain during the night from Thursday to Friday.

Two suspects flee before being caught

A police system has been put in place. The police intercepted the carrier vehicle, which was transporting the cannabis, at the Allainville tollbooth. The suspect driving the vehicle was immediately arrested. The two other suspects, driving the two opening vehicles, fled. They were finally caught in Eure-et-Loir for one and in Yvelines for the second, before being arrested in turn. “The ten kilos of cocaine were seized in a box in the south of France”specifies a source close to the matter.

The street value of the 666 kilos of cannabis is estimated at around 2 million euros, while the 10 kilos of cocaine, which can be diluted with cutting products to increase the volume, could fetch up to 800,000 euros on the illicit market. One of the suspects is from (Hérault), while the other two come from the region, again according to our information. Their police custody can extend up to 96 hours.
