A 17-year-old teenager from Vigneux-sur-Seine (Essonne) was indicted this Wednesday for “attempted murder of an ascendant” after stabbing his father nine times, reports The Parisian.
The events took place late this Sunday after an evening where father and son had consumed alcohol.
A disagreement in the car
An argument broke out during the car ride home. The father, aged 44, allegedly criticized the young man for his behavior towards a young girl during the party, says North Littoral.
The two protagonists then got out of the vehicle and the forty-year-old pushed his son into a ditch. In response, the teenager allegedly grabbed a knife and stabbed his father. Injured, the father went to the hospital with his wife.
He claimed to have been involved in an altercation with an unknown group. But the next day, the woman explained that their son was the perpetrator. The young man was taken into police custody and admitted the facts. The victim received five days of total incapacity for work (ITT). Evasion reports that the suspect was presented to a judge and placed in pre-trial detention.
