The National Agency for Statistics and Demography (Ands) has made public its statistical benchmarks for the month of July 2024. Concerning mining production, Ands informs that: “In July 2024, mining activity, monitored by formal companies, is marked by the decline in production in value of attapulgite (-45.4%), gold (-15.5%), zircon (-14.2%) and iodized salt (-12.7%) compared to the previous month, year-on-year production of zircon (+). 43.3%) and gold (+9.6%) are increasing.
