Things are getting tougher for the trio, arrested by the insightful sleuths of the Criminal Investigations Division (DIC)!
Indeed, dakarposte is able to reveal that things are getting complicated like no other for the freight forwarder, manager of Touba Transit (Mallé Seck), the Public Treasury official (Mansour Kane) and the lady who presented herself as a boss of a company called Ramatoulaye Fall known as Rama.
The trio of forgers, who will shortly be referred to the Financial Judicial Pool, risks remaining in the darkness of the citadel. The cause? Dakarposte has learned that they are ultimately being prosecuted for embezzlement of public funds, money laundering, fraud, receiving stolen property, and theft of bank checks (which they falsified).
Our colleague Libération tells us that the suspects fell following a complaint from the paymaster general, Mame Diama Diouf. They were apprehended by elements of the Criminal Investigation Division (DIC).
Alongside the DIC, Customs also opened an investigation. The soldiers of the economy estimate the carnage at 8 billion CFA francs.
