Paris: young robbers put to flight by customers of the tobacco bar

This trio of criminals is obviously new to this subject. Three young men tried to rob a tobacco bar in the 13th arrondissement of the capital on Tuesday afternoon. Beaten up by customers, their business ended in bitter defeat.

It is 2:20 p.m. in the rue du Docteur Lucas Championnière when two men and a woman, aged between 15 and 20, burst into the “Flanker”, a bar with orange blinds, located in a rather quiet corner. One of them points a gun at the manager and is interested in his gold watch. “Is that a real Rolex on your wrist?” », he asks. The three customers, who are at the bar, don’t miss a beat and decide to intervene. These fifty and sixty-year-olds disarm the bandit. The gun falls to the ground before being kicked aside by a consumer. A fight breaks out, one of the perpetrators loses his surgical mask and ends up on the ground. The thugs finally manage to leave the scene without taking anything.

They flee on foot

In the melee, another of the thugs lost his bag and a balaclava. The trio fled on foot along Rue Damesme. The victims immediately alerted the police. A patrol quickly arrives on the scene. Lost objects including the weapon which turned out to be a “Gomcogne” pistol which fires rubber bullets are collected and will be used during the investigation. Searches were undertaken in the area, but the three nickel-plated feet disappeared into the wild. The local thieves trail is preferred. Officials from the third judicial police district are responsible for carrying out further investigations.
