QUÉBEC, the 8 oct. 2024 /CNW/ – In collaboration with Héma-Québec, the Quebec City Convention Center is organizing its first blood drive, which will take place on Tuesday, October 15. For the occasion, the Héma-Québec mobile unit will be stationed on Promenade Desjardins from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to accommodate around forty donors.
“We all know someone close to us who required a blood transfusion during their life. Héma-Québec’s cause and its mission are important to us, and we are always delighted to be able to get involved in the community. With the motivation of our team and the availability of our spaces, the organization of this collection turned out to be easy and will certainly make us want to organize others! Several members of our staff made their appointment to make a donation. To date, only around ten people are missing to reach the objective,” explains Mme Caroline LepagePresident and CEO of the Quebec City Convention Center.
